Student Art Contest

Call for Entries

The Tehama County Arts Council, along with the Red Bluff Art Association invite students, grades K-12  to participate in the TCAC Student Art Contest which will be held in conjunction with our annual Missoula Children’s Theatre presentation. This year’s contest theme is “Under the Sea.” Prizes will be awarded in each of the four divisions to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place, plus honorable mentions. The Best of Show receives $50.

Entries are due Tuesday, March 6th by 4 P.M. at the Tehama County Department of Education, 1135 Lincoln Street in Red Bluff. Please see the contest rules in the art contest form, linked below. We encourage originality, individuality and creativity by the students, as well as adherence to the contest rules.

For the first time, the display of the TCAC Student Art Contest entries will be held in conjunction with our annual theater event ­­– Missoula Children’s Theatre! Winning entries will be awarded prizes at the Young Artists’ Reception which will be held on Saturday, March 24^th at the State Theatre for the Arts, 333 Oak Street in Red Bluff.

Last year we received many excellent entries which showed talent, individuality, and ingenuity, and we look forward to this year’s entries. For more information please call Christy Gadbois-Vail at 200-2661.
