Missoula Children’s Theatre

Since 2001, the TCAC has sponsored an annual theater production led by the Missoula Children’s Theatre, Inc. (MCT). The week-long experience offers Tehama County children in grades K-12 the chance to audition for, rehearse and perform in a full-scale musical. In addition, the MCT actor-directors present workshops in area schools, potentially reaching more than 500 children during that one week.

TCAC has partnered with the State Theatre for the Performing Arts for several years on the production costs, which can exceed $7,000. Local and corporate sponsors help defray costs. Participation is free for all students; tickets are offered at reduced pricing or free to the performers’ families.

For 2012 TCAC and the State Theatre for the Arts announce the Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of The Little Mermaid.  Auditions are at 3:30 PM on Monday 19, 2012 at the Vista School gym located on South Jackson in Red Bluff.
